Download Carmageddon TDR 2000 Full Version for Free or Cheap: A Complete Guide

carmageddon tdr 2000 isn't the only carmageddon sequel in the pipeline, either. in fact, another one is rumoured to be in the works by the same developer, and there's a third that is in discussion with a different studio. oh, and the fourth game in the series (as i remember it) was cancelled.

but enough about that, back to carmageddon tdr 2000. first, what are the controls? simple: a (d-pad) - w (d-pad) - b (d-pad) - a (d-pad) - b (d-pad). each bumper is a trigger, but its not double, single, triple or quadruple. its just 2 bumper triggers. that takes some getting used to. don't worry too much about accuracy in the aiming, though, it isn't like sim racing where getting a car on the mark takes all of your attention.

punching in the target car in the hud is pretty easy, and as long as you use the right triggers you can hammer down hard, fast and without ever taking your eyes from the show. when you slam on the right bumper hard, your car will nail a zombie for decent points.

in fact, you can probably hit them as hard as you like and it wont do the slightest damage. hit a human with the right bumper or the headlights and they fly off like a professional rugby player who's being roughed up by a few meatheads. it really is not about hitting them hard, it's more about hits being as hard as possible. your goal is to take out the opposing car to score the most points. after each level, the remaining points are tallied up, and the car that scored the most points wins. and the more you blow up, the better your car looks.

the environments are heavily scripted, so you will find yourself driving into a concrete wall time and time again. the more cars and the more stuff on the road the more this will occur, and the more you'll find yourself mowing down zombies and crushing pedestrians by the bucket load. it's funny, really, because there are so many things to smash up you'll have to roll backwards just to run over the next wall.
