Home Alone: The Holiday Heist

You may have grown up watching the original Home Alone, and this sequel, Home Alone Holiday Heist, has many of the story elements of the original: a young boy, Finn Baxter (Christian Martyn), believes his house is haunted. When he is left home alone while his parents attend a holiday party, he and his sister (Jodelle Ferland) find themselves needing to fend off not ghosts, but cartoonishly inept burglars trying to steal a priceless painting from the home. When his sister gets trapped in the basement, Finn sets tons of clever booby traps for the bad guys, producing some slapstick comedy that is at times laugh-out-loud funny, and like the original (hopefully not too much of a spoiler alert), he has the last laugh.

Home Alone: The Holiday Heist

While Disney+ has gained a reputation as a hub for family-friendly fare (or for adults looking to relive their childhood favorites), it has plenty of movies geared toward adult audiences.
