I'm trying to encode an input .mp4 for both HLS and re-size into separate .mp4 files using the tee muxer, and HLS's "var_stream_map". When I run the below command with both HLS and .mp4s in the tee muxer, it fails. It does not fail when running the HLS only. Any ideas?

Without select for a given tee output, all output streams are sent to that tee output. So, the HLS muxer will expect var_stream_map to set mapping for all received streams. But your var_stream_map only handles the first three video and audio streams. So, add select=\'v:0,a:0,v:1,a:1,v:2,a:2\' for the HLS output.

P.S. when using tee, for output to MP4 or other formats with global headers, like FLV, you have to add -flags +global_header to satisfy players like Quicktime, which expect to read stream parameter sets only from the header.

Now your video is uploaded and you can start the MP4 to AVI conversion. If it is needed, change the output format to one of the 37 video formats supported. After that, you can add more videos for batch conversion.

If you want, you can customize such settings as resolution, quality, aspect ratio and others by clicking the gear icon. Apply them to all the video files if necessary and click the button "Convert" to process.

Now your video is uploaded and you can start the MP4 to ASF conversion. If it is needed, change the output format to one of the 37 video formats supported. After that, you can add more videos for batch conversion.

I'm using AWS S3 to store my video and audio files. Before I upload any video file, I convert the video file into different resolutions from my laptop using ffmpeg and then I upload those files onto my AWS S3 account. I want to know if its possible to convert the video file stored on my AWS S3 to different resolutions. As in the conversion to happen on the AWS.

You can set up a transcoding pipeline with AWS Elastic Transcoder. It allows you to take objects from one S3 bucket, transcode the objects (change frame rate, resolution, etc.), and put the altered versions in a different S3 bucket. You could set it up to transcode to multiple different resolutions outputted to different S3 buckets if you wanted.

1. Click the "Choose Files" button to select multiple files on your computer or click the dropdown button to choose an online file from URL, Google Drive or Dropbox. The source file can also be audio format. Video and audio file size can be up to 200M. You can use file analyzer to get source video's detailed information such as video codec, duration and bitrate.

2. Set target video format, bitrate, aspect ratio, frame size and frame rate. All audio streams will be removed if the "Mute" option is checked. The target video format can be MP4, AVI, FLV, MPG, MKV, WMV, M2TS, WEBM, ASF, MOV, M4V, RM, VOB, OGV or GIF.

3. Click the "Convert Now!" button to start batch conversion. It will automatically retry conversion on another server if one fails, please be patient while converting. The output files will be listed in the "Conversion Results" section. Click icon to show file QR code or save file to cloud storage services such as Google Drive or Dropbox.

A video file normally consists of a container format (e.g. Matroska) containing video data in a video coding format alongside audio data in an audio coding format. The container format can also contain synchronization information, subtitles, and metadata such as title. A standardized video file type such as .webm is a profile specified by a restriction on which container format and which video and audio compression formats are allowed.

Some would say that frame rate conversion is not worth efforts and results in almost the same low quality video as image upscaling, often with soap opera effect, which they hate. But they are wrong! From the extensive feedback from the community, we learned that anyone who actually watched at least 3 movies at high frame rate would never ever want to watch anything in the obsolete 24 fps standard.

During games I have no micro stutters. But when im watching TV shows and the camera is panning slowly the FPS of the show and my refresh rate seems to mismatch. Anyone knows why? I have an RTX 3060 ti and in the control panel settings i've enables G-sync and stuff. Dont know how to enable G-sync for watching movies?

MPEG-4 absorbs many of the features of MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 and other related standards, adding new features such as (extended) VRML support for 3D rendering, object-oriented composite files (including audio, video and VRML objects), support for externally specified Digital Rights Management and various types of interactivity. AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) was standardized as an adjunct to MPEG-2 (as Part 1) before MPEG-4 was issued.

MPEG-4 is still an evolving standard and is divided into a number of parts. Companies promoting MPEG-4 compatibility do not always clearly state which "part" level compatibility they are referring to. The key parts to be aware of are MPEG-4 Part 2 (including Advanced Simple Profile, used by codecs such as DivX, Xvid, Nero Digital and 3ivx and by QuickTime 6) and MPEG-4 part 10 (MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 or Advanced Video Coding, used by the x264 encoder, Nero Digital AVC, QuickTime 7, and high-definition video media like Blu-ray Disc).

Most of the features included in MPEG-4 are left to individual developers to decide whether or not to implement. This means that there are probably no complete implementations of the entire MPEG-4 set of standards. To deal with this, the standard includes the concept of "profiles" and "levels", allowing a specific set of capabilities to be defined in a manner appropriate for a subset of applications.

Initially, MPEG-4 was aimed primarily at low-bit-rate video communications; however, its scope as a multimedia coding standard was later expanded. MPEG-4 is efficient across a variety of bit rates ranging from a few kilobits per second to tens of megabits per second. MPEG-4 provides the following functions:

MPEG-4 provides a large and rich set of tools for encoding.Subsets of the MPEG-4 tool sets have been provided for use in specific applications. These subsets, called 'Profiles', limit the size of the tool set a decoder is required to implement.[3] In order to restrict computational complexity, one or more 'Levels' are set for each Profile.[3] A Profile and Level combination allows:[3]

The low profile levels are part of the MPEG-4 video encoding/decoding constraints and are compatible with the older ITU H.261 standard, also compatible with former analog TV standards for broadcast and records (such as NTSC or PAL video). The ASP profile in its highest level is suitable for most usual DVD medias and players or for many online video sites, but not for Blu-ray records or online HD video contents.

More advanced profiles for HD media have been defined later in the AVC profile, which is functionally identical to the ITU H.264 standard but are now also integrated in MPEG-4 Part 10 (see H.264/MPEG-4 AVC for the list of defined levels in this AVC profile).

According to a research, video definitely is getting more engagement across all major social platforms. On Facebook, videos get as much as 135% more organic reach than images, 6 times more retweets on Twitter, and 75% of executives say they watch world-related video weekly on LinkedIn. 041b061a72
